We hear all the time - You don't need the real thing to study for Cisco Exams. Well - do we?

I think kit is good coz you can examine the actual interfaces and see the indicator lights and what they do..... Also, troubleshooting interfaces etc......

don't spend money that you don't have to.....simulators do everything - even allow errors to be checked on interfaces so you don't need the real thing.....save money!

Got to be real equipment for me. Simulation is all well and good but they don't use simulation in the real world. Don't think for a moment that when you start your new job it will be Boson in front of you.............

If you can afford the eal thing then great but a lot of us can't. On a budget then a simulator seems like a good choice.

Yes you do...............it's the difference between real world scenarios and problems and simulation which can't mimic the real world.
